Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Boosting the supply of zero-emission vehicles and charging stations

Taking strides to reduce environmental impact

Nearly half of California’s greenhouse gas emissions, and 80 percent of smog-forming pollutants, come from the state’s transportation sector. Recognizing a need for change, they set out to dramatically decrease emissions and increase clean air. How? By bringing 250,000 vehicle-charging stations and 200 hydrogen fueling stations to California by 2025.

For this project, we are developing a series of level two electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects throughout the northern California region. The project involves site assessments at state-owned properties including prisons, remote fish and wildlife, hospitals, parking garages, and detailed design of the infrastructure. We are also in charge of California fire marshal submittals, construction support, and coordination between all stakeholders was required.

Across northern California, we continue to manage and deliver a large number of charging station design projects, performing centralized program management and utilizing our solid regulatory relationships. The result? By changing the way people fuel their vehicles, we’re helping California become a cleaner, healthier state.
