EHS Compliance Audit for Tyco

In order to meet the increasingly stringent environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulatory requirements in China, Tyco wanted to complete a comprehensive EHS compliance audit for multiple facilities across the country.

Because the client’s facilities were located in different provinces of China, the location-specific EHS audit checklists had to cover both national and local regulatory requirements as well as international standards. We helped Tyco develop internal practice standards based on our EHS Document Database, before field activities began.

After that, we worked on field activities including document review, personal interviews, and site visits. All findings identified during activities were discussed and confirmed with the client’s representatives, prior to uploading to an online database for recording and tracking.

We also provided regulatory and technical support on developing follow-up corrective action plans for each facility on a practical and cost-effective manner. By guiding facility management, we help facilities to be in compliance with Chinese regulatory requirements as well as the standards of the client.
