Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct - Peer Review
The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is a $830 million redevelopment of Liverpool Hospital delivered in partnership between Health Infrastructure and South Western Sydney Local Health District. Commissioned by the NSW Government, the project will significantly enhance healthcare services for the population of southwestern Sydney and position Liverpool Hospital as a global centre for innovation and medical research.
As independent peer reviewers, our mechanical and electrical engineers are on site every week to conduct comprehensive inspections, review shop drawings, and offer detailed assessments. Collaborating with Johnstaff and Lendlease, we help navigate project complexities, demonstrating our dedication to quality assurance and proactive problem-solving.
When complete, the precinct will offer a comprehensive cancer centre with research facilities, expanded ambulatory care services, and more capacity for neonatal intensive care and maternity services. The precinct will also provide day surgery and interventional radiology plus critical care and inpatient services—all supported by additional car parking. There will also be facilities for further teaching and research in partnership with industry and higher education partners.
The overall project is expected to be completed in 2027.
