Managing the design and construction of a new two-story oncology center

Wanting to incorporate a new tower to house oncology services, outpatient imaging, and academic clinics such as surgery, internal medicine, OB/GYN, and pediatric services, Meridian health called on our team to develop their vision, grow the Meridian brand, and ultimately serve the community’s various health needs.

The new tower includes a two-story cancer center, five floors of academic and clinical programs, an additional floor of shell space for future growth, a conference center, and a parking garage. The team worked diligently alongside the architect to direct the design stages and coordinated with the City of Neptune to navigate the town’s zoning laws and traffic patterns with relation to the project. In addition, the project also required management of additional elevators, cafeteria, and food service design. A mechanical floor was tailor-fitted to house air handling units, electrical gear, and the various infrastructure required to support the cancer center and academic floor.

Our project managers assisted our client with the overall program to save costs on a rapid schedule.
