Hoboken University Medical Center Expansion

More privacy and increased comfort for patients. That was the plan for Hoboken University Medical Center’s expansion project. Our job was project management, planning, architecture, and interior design.

The newly expanded facility includes two fully-equipped cardiac rooms, a dedicated area for pediatrics, and specialized treatment for children. When certain cases call for it, Hoboken University Medical Center can link to specialists using telemedicine. There’s also a dedicated and secure area for patients experiencing psychiatric issues, an EMS work room, and a more comfortable waiting area.

With this expansion, the Hoboken University Medical Center doubled the size of the existing emergency department and guaranteed improved health services for their community.

Services for Hoboken University Medical Center expansion were provided by members of Granary Associates prior to their employment with Stantec.
