Quality Control Building

This new four-story quality control facility features a laboratory/office environment with microbiology and chemistry laboratories, a sterility suite, tissue culture, stability retention chambers and associated lab and office support areas. Our team provided engineering and architectural design, in association with The S/L/A/M Collaborative.

A section of the facility was constructed to meet BSL2+ requirements to support product testing, as the entire quality organization, including lab operations and quality assurance, are brought together under one roof. Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is now, more than ever, able to attract and retain the best and brightest minds in sciences, offering a safe and modern laboratory working environment. The new space was designed to also handle an increase in sample demand testing caused by increased production with optimization of material flows including samples, raw materials and waste.
