Yellowknife, Northwest Territories
Yellowknife is home to about 40 professionals, and it’s our home base for delivering projects to all of the Northern communities in the Northwest Territories (NWT). We are NWT’s latest northern-based, multi-discipline office, and our region is a huge and stunning geography that stretches from the 60th parallel to the Arctic Ocean and from Yukon to Nunavut. We provide local northern expertise in buildings engineering, architecture, transportation, environmental services, geotechnical engineering, and civil engineering.
We’re proud to be Northerners. Living in the extremes of Yellowknife takes a unique personality—extreme cold and darkness in the winter and extreme sunlight and adventures in the summer. And the long days of summer pass far too quickly when you’re surrounded by world class fishing, camping, and boating adventures. No matter how you look at it, Yellowknife is intensely unique and beautiful, and a great place to grow your career.
Our staff is committed to delivering a level of service and quality that holds up under the most extreme circumstances and scrutiny in the sunniest city in Canada.

Mike White, Associate, Buildings
As designers, we get to see the real, tangible results at the conclusion of our work. Then, for the most part, we get to share them with the public.
Warren McLeod, Principal
Seeing a project go from paper to reality—to a finished product in use by the community—makes every challenge worthwhile.
Maggie Burt, Intern Architect
Architecture isn’t only about design—it’s about listening and working with our clients to create buildings they can be proud of.
Arlen Foster, Principal, Practice Lead, Infrastructure
I enjoy teaming with clients, contractors, and designers to manage risks the arctic brings, producing a product we can all be proud of.
Erica Bonhomme, Principal
My career is a commitment to learning from others, learning from experience and bringing that knowledge to our clients to deliver business excellence.
Kevin Hodgins, Senior Principal
Communities are built on people. As professionals, it’s important to be involved in the volunteer and professional organizations that strengthen our immediate communities.
Isaac Freda, Mechanical Engineer
The Arctic has taught me that every person or organization has a relationship to each other that we must respect.
