Seattle-Tacoma International Airport - Consolidated Rental Car Facility
Returning your rental car should never make you miss your flight. But that’s exactly what can happen with a poorly designed rental facility. In the past, rental car operations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport were spread all over, taking over a quarter of the public parking garage. The new multi-level consolidated rental car facility houses customer service areas, vehicle parking, fueling facilities, and maintenance and wash facilities for all of the airport’s rental car tenants.
Our team designed the tenant improvements for most of the major rental car brands represented: Dollar, Thrifty, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Alamo, National, and an independent, Fox Rent a Car. The tenant improvement design included customer service areas with illuminated backwall displays, parking stall and operations configuration for ready and return parking areas, exit plazas with kiosks, and wash and maintenance bays.
Our team provided preliminary renderings, design development, construction documents and specifications, permitting services, and construction administration for each of the individual clients.
