Cassidy Levy Kent Office Relocation
Reacting to the post-Covid hybrid work environment, the law firm of Cassidy Levy Kent (CLK) decided it was time to relocate, reduce, and reimagine their office space. They reached out to our Workplace and Office design team to help.
A key element of our design for CLK’s new office was to deliver as much daylight as possible to the interior areas and make the space feel more expansive. We layered glass throughout—including all office fronts and conference rooms—to facilitate a view to the exterior even from the furthest depth of the floor plate. Additionally, we tried to keep solid walls oriented in a north-south direction as much as possible to maintain sight lines from both exterior glass facades.
For the design aesthetic, we took inspiration from CLK’s practice of international law and global trade, pulling from an intertwined network between jurisdictions, locations, and goods. The office contains various spaces that work together to create cohesive, interconnected system. Through the blending of spaces, natural woven textures, and jewel tone finishes, the design embodies the effect trade has on the world with an elevated but grounded expression.
Today, CLK’s employees enjoy a light-filled, open space that encourages collaboration and connection with each other and their clients.
