Technical Advisory Services for the Hazel McCallion Line

In Ontario, the cities of Mississauga and Brampton are experiencing rapid growth and increasing demands on public transit. To address that challenge, Metrolinx engaged our services to connect the two cities with the Hazel McCallion Line, a north-south backbone of the Peel Region transit network. We’re providing technical advisory services for the implementation phase as part of the Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario team.

As the technical advisor, we’ll be there from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting, providing design, construction, and commissioning oversight services—we’re providing technical leadership throughout this complex project that’s being constructed in a growing urban corridor where utility design and relocations are necessary. We’re also providing on-site observation and contributing to construction and quality meetings.

When complete, the Hazel McCallion Line will service 18 stops and an underground station at Port Credit, operating in an exclusive guideway with traffic priority throughout the corridor. The system will connect GO Transit lines at Port Credit and Cooksville, including service to the Mississauga City Centre on Rathburn Road and the Brampton Gateway Terminal at Steeles Avenue—getting transit riders where they need to go more easily.
