Combining what's important—community, environment, and safety

We worked with the City of Moncton to build a transit facility that would balance what was important to the community and the environment, with the safety, operations, maintenance, and performance needs of the facility operators.

This idea of balance was incorporated in the design for a second reason; the facility had to accommodate all the departments under one roof. The 7,550 square meter transit operations center was designed to house the administration department, a maintenance garage with five service bays, four hoists, and a storage garage for up to 40 buses with room to grow. And they don’t even have to leave home, because we designed this project for the facility's current site.
