A third-generation mining engineer, Gordon has nearly three decades of experience working with major mining companies in open pit and underground mining operations as well as construction and technical services. Drawing on his broad experience in mine operations, mine planning, geotechnical engineering, geology, hydrology, environmental reclamation, resource estimation, and mineral economics, he uses his varied skillset to make effective business decisions.
Gordon has a proven track record in large-scale project management and capital construction work in many geographies and across multiple critical mineral commodities—nickel, iron, uranium, gold, silver, and copper. He has managed projects in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Russia, Kazakhstan, and New Caldonia, helping clients achieve their goals at both the mine site and corporate level, while maintaining safety standards.
True to his Canadian roots, Gordon plays in two hockey leagues. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, and curling.
