Strategic Planning
Providing direction and strategy for future water operations
Australia has one of the fastest growing populations in the world. As our population continues to increase so does the demand on our water supply, our sewers, and our treatment plants. Our water team provides strategic planning to forecast water demand and its use in growing communities, exploring how this demand can be met and how wastewater services can continue to be provided effectively.
We provide strategic planning for areas prone to drought and flooding, so we can anticipate what will happen during wet and dry seasons and prepare for them the best we can. Our aim is to create a sustainable future for our water supply and its demand, as well as the future of our communities.
At Stantec, we balance technological innovation with environmental, regulatory, and economic needs. That’s why, when we conduct strategic planning, we consider these factors and identify a plan that provides the best outcome, so clean water can be available for future generations to come.
