Queensland Rail Station Accessibility Upgrades

As a part of Queensland Rail’s ongoing Station Accessibility Upgrade program, we helped deliver easy-to-use access to three Queensland stations. These upgrades play a valuable role in supporting those with limited mobility, seniors, or parents with pushchairs to connect and travel with ease—creating equal access for users of all abilities.

Our transport team delivered a range of services for the Banyo, Lindum, and Wooloowin station upgrades including, feasibility design work, site investigations, pedestrian and traffic analysis, civil and structural design, urban design, safety, and security assessments, and detailed costing. Accessibility upgrades typically require platforms to be raised—we created new lifts and overpasses to facilitate this. In addition, we supported accessible parking and essential station and customer facilities upgrades.

We helped deliver creative, intuitive, user-friendly, accessible transport options through consultation and engineering design—supporting all customers to travel with ease when using Queensland Rail’s transport network.
