Ergon Energy Buildings Condition Assessment

Residential and operational buildings are fundamental to the wellbeing of Ergon Energy’s workforce and keeping the lights on across the region. In support of their mission and future planning efforts, Ergon Energy engaged our team to conduct condition assessments of 64 of their buildings across Queensland.

The project scope included a condition assessment of all building assets, identifying immediate maintenance requirements and any future renewals that would be required. This process involved reviewing the building fabric, fixtures, finishes, and building services. We then used our collected data to develop a 20-year plan for renewals of materials, recommended an audit program of assets, and identified the provisions required under lease terms such as correctly positioned and functioning smoke alarms.

Ergon Energy now has a comprehensive report of the asset data for all 64 buildings, as well as individual reports for each building, to help plan for future asset renewals and assist in their strategic planning.
