Although Stuart originally set his sights on architecture, he has loved his 30 years in engineering. His experience has spanned high rise, residential, industrial, and commercial structures as well as bridges, focusing on reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, civil works, and stormwater.
Stuart is passionate about having a happy team—he enjoys managing, developing, and training his staff to make sure all the finished documentation is well-presented, all relevant quality assurance procedures are completed and building information modelling requirements are met. He tries to encourage excellence, autonomy, and personal development. Stuart has also been managing bridge drafting for the transport sector for five years modelling bridges in 3D to meet the private sector and relevant state government documentation requirements. Notable projects he’s been involved in include Sydney Light Rail, Snowy Hydro 2.0, and Sydney Motorway tunnel tenders.
On the weekends, Stuart loves to do home renovations, gardening, and working on his cars when he has time. He also enjoys cooking and watching movies.
