As a business leader in the Townsville region, Claudia has served her community for more than 20 years. Through effective management of major projects that shape far north Queensland—projects that are significant infrastructure enhancements to community facilities, such as improving water resources and rebuilding roads and bridges after floods and cyclones. Claudia’s worked on waste transfer station upgrades to establish water security, natural disaster planning, and recovery. She’s also delivered entertainment precinct refurbishments and outdoor recreational developments. Her skills are highly respected and requested by clients.
From participating in the 2000 Sydney Olympics to her role as head coach for James Cook University, Claudia is a leader in elite sports. Under her guidance, the Townsville Fire professional women’s basketball team won the Women’s National Basketball League Championships in 2018. Her experience in the sporting field helps her create high performing business teams. Having joined us here at Stantec in 2023, she’ll continue to motivate our teams, support clients, and serve her community.
Outside of work, Claudia enjoys sailing the tropical North Queensland waters and coaching junior sports.
