Capitalizing on the opportunity to create a community at Texas A&M

Texas A&M University’s students needed more than just another five-story residence hall. Why settle for a space dedicated solely to sleeping and studying when you can build a vibrant, engaging community? The University reached out to us to do just that.

We designed Hullabaloo Hall with this vision in mind, providing a dynamic, amenity-rich environment that caters to both academic and recreational needs. Integrated into the 3,500-student Northside Village, this new facility provides 648 beds and serves as the heart of the community—functioning as a village square where students can gather, learn, and thrive.

Students can enjoy a coffee shop for quick snacks, a media room for entertainment, and a convenience store for their everyday needs. The hall also boasts a community learning center, a spacious commons room, a game room, and outdoor gathering spaces—allowing students to immerse themselves in the rich Aggie culture. Academically, Hullabaloo Hall provides a classroom, a video production studio, and music practice rooms, giving students access to resources for both study and creative expression.
