A trusted partner in transportation, land use, and land development projects, Gil is an expert on the Southern California ecosystem and its precious flora and fauna. As an environmental planner passionate about client satisfaction, he regularly provides expertise in preparing and managing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documentation.
For three decades, Gil has developed mitigation monitoring programs for complex and often controversial projects, both private and public. He’s familiar with Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act compliance requirements and has successfully processed permits under both acts. Also, as an advocate for the profession and the environment, Gil has served on national and state advisory panels and committees addressing issues concerning transportation and biodiversity.
Away from the office, Gil embraces the Southern California outdoors—surfing, hiking, and enjoying the area’s botanical diversity.
