Growing up in the Ottawa Valley, James developed an interest in engineering at an early age. His father, who worked on hydroelectric dams as an electrical engineer, inspired James to develop his passion of solving complex and interesting problems. This is exactly what he’s been doing in the consulting industry over the last 25 years, where he plays an active role managing and as technical lead for wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal clients.
James specializes in wastewater collection systems, sanitary and stormwater pumping stations, odor and corrosion treatment and real time control systems. His projects include all design stages and contract administration municipal sanitary pump stations, stormwater pump stations, combined sewage collection system regulators, odor and corrosion treatment systems, and combined sewage overflow tanks.
When James isn’t busy solving engineering problems, he’s an avid outdoorsperson who enjoys canoe camping and fly fishing in the summer and skiing in the winter.
