Focused on the strategic planning, geotechnical and engineering design, construction management, and operation for hydroelectric and pumped storage facilities, Mike is a regional lead for our Energy team. He’s held key roles in the management of complex and technical, long-term water resources, hydropower, and dam projects across the United States and Canada.
Working with our teams throughout the west, Mike has worked directly with public and private clients, as well as multiple state and federal agencies. He’s presented on behalf of the hydropower industry at multiple conferences, as well as to the U.S. Department of Energy, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), various energy commissions, and other regulatory entities. Mike strategically navigates complex hydropower, pumped storage, and water resource project planning and appreciates the technical details involved in developing plans that provide a reliable water and renewable energy supply to meet future needs.
Mike’s passion for the environment extends to his personal life—he enjoys staying active outdoors with his family, and especially appreciates time fly fishing, skiing, golfing, and playing ice hockey.
