A principal with our water resources group, Mason has over 20 years of experience managing large-scale mapping and feasibility studies as well as overseeing design for drainage and roadway improvement projects. He has also been involved with complex hydrologic and hydraulic studies and the preparation of drainage construction drawings and documents. He’s passionate about mentoring his team and developing strong relationships with clients.
Specializing in floodplain mapping, Mason has used his broad project management experience and training to spearhead numerous efforts including flood mapping for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). He has also worked on projects for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Texas General Land Office (TxGLO), and various river authorities as well as bond or capital improvement projects for local municipalities.
When he isn’t leading his latest water resources project, Mason can be found getting some fresh air outdoors. He loves oceans, lakes, rivers, and state parks and gets out hunting, fishing, and golfing whenever he can.
