Dedicated to caring for the environment, James has all the qualities of a successful hydrotechnical engineer. He has a deep commitment to leveraging designs that help communities restore habitats and a passion for solving problems with unique environmental constraints to provide resilient solutions for the ecosystem.
James’ approach? Finding balance in every project between environment and infrastructure. Creating river solutions considerate of species is no easy task, but using his skills as a river engineer to protect and keep aquatic habitat clean and healthy provides him with a sense of pride in restoring our rivers. Our teams and clients rely on James’ expertise to design projects that mitigate flooding, creating resilient infrastructure and safe communities. Many of his projects have been along the Bow River in Calgary where he also surfs and fishes. James also works on projects throughout western Canada, including British Columbia, Saskatchewan, the Yukon, and Northwest Territories.
