Gerald specializes in municipal infrastructure, from planning through to the end of construction. His vast experience and thorough knowledge of condition assessments and trenchless renewal methods allows him to deliver creative and cost effective solutions to communities, with an approach that allows his clients to establish financial plans for infrastructure sustainability.
Gerald’s passion for his industry and hard-working attitude have afforded him the opportunity to work on many unique and complex projects during his 31 years of experience. This includes meaningful work in his own community, as he was actively involved in the efforts to repair the large sinkhole that extensively impacted traffic on Ottawa’s major highway. This project required numerous disciplines to assist in the solutions, all of which needed to be developed within an accelerated timeframe. Gerry is also working on the largest capital program the City of Kawartha Lakes has undertaken in the last 40 years, the Northwest Trunk Sanitary Sewer Infrastructure Program, where he serves as trenchless advisor.
