As new energy growth leader, Grant assist clients and communities to meet their renewable energy goals, developing long-term strategies for the energy sector and facilitating energy transition to renewables. He recognises the significant scale of the work required and the urgency of acting immediately, noting economically viable solutions are available to address the issues now, particularly if stakeholders are connected to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
An expert in pumped hydro-energy storage, irrigation, flood risk management, and water resource dams and hydropower, Grant often acts as the project director and manager for large infrastructure projects. Examples of this are his work on the Snowy 2.0 Pumped Hydropower and Central Plains Water Enhancement, or further afield, the Greater Dublin Strategic Drainage Study and River Tolka flood alleviation works.
Grant is passionate about the outdoors and loves that his children also share this passion.
