University of Washington - Foster School of Business, PACCAR Hall
UW Foster School of Business is one of the highest ranking business schools in America. The five-story, PACCAR Hall, Phase I of the upgrades to FSOB, brings modern, high-quality technology found in business today to the classroom.
Public education institutions have typically lagged behind commercial business in the implementation of new and emerging technologies on a large scale due to budget constraints both in actual system costs and additional ongoing support costs for non-standard systems in a campus environment. PACCAR Hall’s technology systems are designed with added enhancements to help reduce the long-term operational costs through networked controls for energy saving and personnel costs through centralized monitoring and reduced maintenance expenditures.
UW PACCAR Hall is equipped with multi-media classrooms with Web-linked digital monitors, distance conferencing capabilities, media enhanced break-out rooms, classroom capture systems, webinar classes, digital room scheduling, collaboration software, and annotation technology. The high tech building offers students and faculty the technological experience they expect in today’s business world.
