Tennessee Valley Authority CommunityHQ Application Development
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) wanted an online tool that would connect different management systems with customer feedback, allowing them to make better decisions about their programs. This presented a significant challenge because of the large number of people they serve. They reached out to our Management and Technology Consulting team to help.
We partnered with TVA to develop CommunityHQ. This custom application provides real-time insights into public sentiment and performance metrics, using advanced analytics for effective program management and dynamic public outreach. CommunityHQ integrates data from various sources including program management systems, project schedules, financial systems, social media, and news outlets. Utilizing Microsoft Fabric, a powerful analytics platform, we combined technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI to create the application.
CommunityHQ allows for the use of advanced machine learning and AI models to analyze and understand community sentiment instantly. It helps identify trends and changes in public opinion, as well as the reasons behind those shifts. With this capability, TVA can make data-driven decisions and effectively engage with communities. Additionally, it enables the gathering of important feedback and provides valuable insights into TVA's projects and policies.
