Integrated Master Services Agreement

We’ve been providing professional engineering, surveying, and permit processing services to Pepco (an Exelon  company) since the 1950s. With our personal familiarity with both agency staff and regulations, our goal is to provide a more reliable source of energy to the public for years to come.

Currently, we’re working under an integrated master services agreement utilized for design of underground and overhead power lines and sub-stations. Engineering services include preliminary design such as route analysis, project feasibility, utility research and manhole location, determination of property ownership, soil boring and geotechnical testing. We also completed full engineering design, construction drawings and permitting for sediment control, stormwater management, traffic control planning, tree protection and wetland impact analyses, transmission line planning and profile drawings, and structural drawings. And finally, during construction, we performed stake-out and maintenance of stakes, existing right-of-way (ROW) review for compliance with utility clearance requirements, requests for information (RFI) and plan revisions, test pitting, and construction as-built plans.

Due to the improvement of the underground transmission system, the services Pepco provides have improved significantly. The result? Communities know they have energy they can rely on.
