Base Engineering Assessment Program

Military bases are more than just a workplace, they are like entire cities in miniature with similar infrastructure that must be kept to a high standard of performance, and most importantly, a constant state of readiness.  We are proud of our role in the Base Engineering Assessment Program to assess defence infrastructure at 26 locations across Australia.

The project had three phases—investigation and analysis, physical investigations, and final reporting. Among the systems and infrastructure, we assessed were—electrical services, voice and information technology networks, water supply including firefighting systems, fuel and gas networks, and stormwater and sewage networks.

We delivered the project in accordance with the Defence Estate Quality Management System (DEQMS) suite of support services, which includes the methodology, detailed guidance and templates for both the project deliverables and the project lifecycle management. While the people in uniform, and their equipment, are what citizens see, we are proud to support all the systems behind the scenes keeping them ready to respond to any situation.
