Bollo Lane, Ealing
As part of a proposed scheme to offer affordable housing to Londoners, we were appointed to deliver engineering services for the mixed-use scheme at 100 Bollo Lane, Ealing. The scheme aims to deliver 84 “pocket homes” and 28 private for sale homes along with 2,758 square metres of office space.
Pocket builds of affordable housing in London helps the ever-growing numbers of Londoners who are priced out of private housing and unable to secure social housing to own a home of their own. The main driver for this development is to provide affordable apartments for London City Maker’s. Therefore, the main body of the residential development is made up of one-bedroom, one-person homes—pocket apartments.
In addition, private homes are provided to support the scheme’s financial viability. These are one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.
Across the project we provided our client with structural, civil, and building engineering services for both the residential and commercial spaces. We also provided below-ground drainage design services from concept design to handover and close out to enable the project’s delivery and construction.
