Managing the central energy system engineering requirements at U of R

For over 15 years, the University of Regina has relied on our team to help manage most of its central energy system engineering requirements. That’s why when they needed to assess the existing central heating plant, cooling plant, and thermal energy distribution systems, the University came to our team to evaluate the current conditions and identify needs for the next 20 years of service in Regina.

This study included a detailed analysis of planned growth for the campus. Obviously, the central energy system needed to serve this growth, but we also provided a thorough review of alternative energy sources to ensure the most effective strategy. As an alternative to the current steam heat distribution system, our team looked into methods of hot water heat distribution.

Currently, the University is in the process of implementing our team’s recommendation.
