A project designed to meet LEED Gold standards

The Bank of Canada needed to relocate its Data Center to another existing building that would meet the heightened security, continuity, and reliability criteria for its systems.

Our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the design of the relocated Data Center, covering a 300 m² surface and featuring a raised floor.

We carried out major renovations to the existing building to ensure that the server room could operate as a standalone Tier III system. We modified all mechanical and electrical systems of the original building to accommodate the new equipment. We designed the systems to have maximum heat recovery and natural cooling when feasible.

Our team came up with a flexible design for the facilities, enabling them to evolve over the next 20 years, by providing possibilities for expansion and additional infrastructure.
