Supporting our growing industries for years to come

When BCI Minerals wanted to build a salt and potash fertilizer production plant with a large-scale solar evaporation operation, we were brought in as the Project Management Contractor. Located along the Pilbara coast, one of the world’s premier regions for solar salt production, once constructed, this facility will produce a high-quality, reliable salt—consistently in high demand.

By concentrating seawater through solar and wind evaporation, our client can sustainably produce high purity sodium chloride salt and sulphate potash fertilizer, supplying our growing agricultural and chemical industries. Currently, in the construction phase, we’re working with BCI Minerals and other engineering contractors to deliver a range of packages, including a salt wash plant and stockyard, a sulphate of potash process plant, non-process infrastructure, a seawater station, pump stations, overland pipelines, jetty construction, evaporative ponds, crystallisers, and power and communications.

This project has a three-year construction timeline and will have an operating life of at least 60 years, helping BCI Minerals support our growing industries for years to come.
