As an associate health scientist, Kaitlyn greatly values the scientific process. She enjoys the problem-solving aspect of her work and seeks innovative ideas that stretch her creativity. Her passion lies in research and environmental sciences—she’s eager to collaborate with peers and apply her scientific background to generate solutions for real world issues. Within her discipline, she’s most known for her work with human health risk assessment, toxicology, environmental and occupational health, and biosolid contamination.
Kaitlyn’s consulting and project experience includes assessing risks to communities, consumers, and workers from compounds including asbestos, heavy metals, diacetyl, and food flavorings. Primarily involved in toxic tort litigation, toxicological review, and regulatory risk assessments, she’s provided technical and logistical support for expert witnesses in cases involving alleged occupational and non-occupational exposures to dangerous substances—she uses scientific data and information to tell the stories of our clients.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys running, cycling, yoga, and trying new recipes. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
