Walt focuses on a safe-systems approach to transportation projects that protects vulnerable users. With over 20 years of experience, he has an extensive background in traffic safety, operations modeling, and signal systems as well as maintenance of traffic during construction.
A senior associate, Walt manages a team of transportation engineers who provide design solutions throughout New England. His dedication to the field is evident in his attention to detail and the innovative solutions he brings to transportation challenges. For example, on the Burns Bridge Project, he was responsible for the design of traffic signal systems and the roundabout. He led the design of complex temporary traffic staging to maintain the flow of multimodal traffic during ongoing bridge construction.
When he isn’t improving the safety and efficiency of transportation projects, Walt enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and exploring different cities.
