As a mechanical engineer and a project manager, Michael has worked both behind the scenes and on the front lines of energy and manufacturing project delivery. Working on teams with diverse, multidisciplinary technical experts has shaped him into a seasoned leader and team player. He believes listening is key to successful collaboration and building great relationships.
Currently, Michael is leading innovative projects in renewables and industrial processes. He leads multidisciplinary teams in the renewables sector for solar, wind, and hydrogen projects and supports other industrial and transmission and distribution programs. To help meet client and community goals, he works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and vision. Some of his project highlights include a conversion of a glass manufacturing facility from fuel oil to compressed natural gas in coordination with multiple authorities and legislative processes, and a recent 100 megawatt (MW) solar project leading the engineering scope for an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) client.
When not at work, Michael enjoys doing any sort of outdoor activity, but what he loves most is camping, exploring historical sites, and playing ping pong.
