George Rieke

Senior Associate

Photo of George

A LEED accredited professional, George has more than two decades of experience designing science, research, and higher education facilities. Over the years, he’s filled a wide range of roles—design architect, project manager, construction administrator, and assisting with research. He strives for organization, clarity, and conciseness in every aspect of a project.

Drawing on his strength for collaboration, George has the unique ability to form long-standing relationships with clients, contractors, and fellow colleagues. He works with external partners to coordinate all aspects of a project and regularly plays an active role in design charettes—workshop-like meetings where team members collaboratively explore ideas—at various stages of the design process. George served as the lead lab designer for the Prairie View A&M University’s Roy G. Perry College of Engineering Complex. This facility has instructional and research laboratory space that includes smart manufacturing, materials, and device and sensor labs to support a hybrid of both wet and computation research planning.

When he’s not designing research facilities, he’s remodeling his house. Only two more floors to go!
