Over 25 years of project management experience has taught Mike the merits of bringing a can-do attitude to even the most difficult projects. He understands the importance of consistent monitoring, reporting, and quantitative measurement of project goals and overall performance parameters, as well as keeping the focus on project drivers. Mike has been involved in several world class oil, chemical, and energy and resources projects around the globe, from Mongolia to England to Australia.
An Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) expert, Mike has a passion for breaking down complicated data and presenting it in easily understandable ways. Currently, he is working on developing an EPC schedule and project controls structure for a major mining project. He’s collaborating closely with the project team to ensure the project controls system is designed to provide concise reporting, performance measurement and forecasting data that will help to monitor key information throughout all phases of the project.
Outside of work, Mike is an avid golfer and cyclist. He also enjoys walking his three canine “kids” named Sugar Pie, Hughie, and Monty.
