Out of New Orleans, Louisiana, Steve is the Coastal Restoration and Resilience practice leader for the southeast US region. He has more than 35 years of experience, which he’s focused on ecosystem restoration and hurricane protection in the Gulf of Mexico coastal region. His main objective? To focus company assets and deliver planning, design, and construction services specific to coastal protection and restoration across the US.
Steve strives to use his knowledge and background to help communities adapt and respond to climate change. Bringing extensive experience in both private and public sector positions, his previous work has required development of plans and programs to accomplish ecosystem restoration in coastal Louisiana. The goal? Combat coastal land loss resulting from subsidence, altered hydrology, and projected sea level rise as a result of climate change.
Most recently, Steve served as the executive director of the Louisiana Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration with the role of developing, implementing, and enforcing a comprehensive coastal protection and restoration master plan for the State of Louisiana.
