With over 20 years of experience in consulting on engineering and construction projects, Matt leads engineering services for a variety of projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Matt enjoys helping guide the ownership and design team from an abstract set of development ideas into a constructible plan and overseeing the construction of a completed project. He actively takes an initial role with clients to identify project priorities and establish a design approach that finds a way to bring those priorities within budget. Matt believes a successful project must not only come in on time and on budget, but also be user-friendly and meet the project’s lifetime goals of the client. He always considers sustainable, low-impact alternatives to conventional design. Often, a properly applied low-impact design can provide front-end cost savings as well as long-term maintenance relief.
To his great appreciation, most of Matt’s personal time is eagerly gobbled up by his family. Bike commuting keeps him active and frequent trips up to the cabin are always welcome.
