After earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in archaeology from the University of Saskatchewan, Talina started her career in the nonprofit sector. She focused on advocacy, public education, and community-based archaeology. After moving Calgary, she joined us to help create a space for community and industry voices to communicate.
Talina is a senior associate and Indigenous services senior advisor. She combines her written and oral communication skills with a passion for connecting people to facilitate collaborative work and bring necessary voices, perspectives, and decision makers together. Her goal is to facilitate collaboration throughout the entirety of a project and advance economic reconciliation, create trusted and transparent relationships, and strive for more informed and co-designed projects between industry and communities.
When she isn’t helping facilitate conversations, Talina spends her days with her husband, three children, and their dog. She enjoys biking, skiing, hiking, and trying to grow a garden in the Calgary climate.
