Starting with individual people and how they make their transportation choices, Liza focuses on developing plans that expand their mobility options. Drawing on data, visualization tools, and mobility analytics, she creates powerful analyses and community-based solutions that do just that. Her work has shaped multimodal transportation plans, campus access strategies, parking studies, and transit-oriented development plans for clients and downtowns at all scales in the US Southeast, Midwest, and New England. Liza was proud to be a part of Go Boston 2030, Boston’s new transportation plan, as well as efforts like an access-improvement plan for downtown Fayetteville, AR, or campus access planning for UConn Hartford’s new downtown site. She’s currently working on Envision Cambridge, a comprehensive plan for Cambridge, MA. You can often find Liza reading new transportation research on her train ride to work.
Liza loves playing outside—biking, hiking, and exploring—even in New England winters. She prides herself on being the go-to person for travel logistics for her friends and family.
