For over 30 years, Lynn has been integrating interior design and architecture. Although most of her work has focused on healthcare interiors, she’s worked on laboratory, commercial workplace, and hospitality projects. Lynn promotes the concept of empathetic design, particularly in healthcare—the integration of interiors and design concepts to improve the human experience.
As the interiors lead designer for the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) in Doha, Qatar, Lynn contributed to Hamad Medical Corporation’s core goals: to reduce suffering and develop therapies and cures while enhancing spirit. The NCCCR will be an advanced, comprehensive cancer facility that will accelerate the development of cures and preventions while simultaneously enhancing the urban experience of Doha.
For Lynn, this project gave her the opportunity to set the stage for international patient care and contribute to an emerging master plan that will define the State of Qatar’s health.
Lynn’s projects have been published in a number of journals and magazines including Contract, Interior Design, and Healthcare Design. A resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Lynn spends most weekends hiking the hills, but every once in a while she makes it to Yosemite or Mendocino.
