Virginia Beach, Virginia
Whether Southside or Peninsula, and for more than 30 years, we have called Hampton Roads home. We live, work, and play here and have a vested interest in helping our clients deliver successful project outcomes while remaining in compliance with ever-changing regulations.
Our work ranges from designing critical facilities and infrastructure for local municipal and federal government clients to implementing coastal engineering/water resources solutions on stream and wetland mitigation efforts (complying with the critical Chesapeake Bay environmental regulations). Our architects, engineers, and environmental specialists evaluate projects and goals, developing cost-effective solutions to support clients’ needs. It may be something that wasn’t initially thought of until the project issues were evaluated—it may be a new cutting-edge process or technology that may save time or money.
Whatever the solution is, rest assured that our team designs with local community in mind. In fact, Stantec is currently working on the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT) expansion project which is vital to better connecting the seven cities of Hampton Roads as well as serving as part of the future regional express lanes network in Virginia. We are also actively working with the US Coast Guard, the Norfolk District Corps of Engineers, and the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command on various projects throughout the region.
