Quesnel, British Columbia

Quesnel, British Columbia

The confluence of the Fraser and Quesnel Rivers is the town of Quesnel. The legacy of this transportation and communication hub began with the Gold Rush Trail (Cariboo Wagon Road), the Nuxalk-Carrier Grease Trail, and the Telegraph Trail. A rich history filled with stories from early explorers, prospectors, First Nations, and Chinese, make Quesnel the vibrant community known today for its charm and friendly locals. With open pine flats to the west and mountains to the east, the heart of the Cariboo boasts world-class fishing, hiking, and canoeing.
