Max is an experienced designer with a firm belief that people should be at the center of design and that the form of the spaces around us can have a fundamental effect on users, their wellbeing, and project success.
With over a decade of experience spread across design consultancy and with both local and national developers, Max enjoys straddling the shared space between architecture, urban design and housing and using his expertise to create successful new communities. His recent experience includes an award-winning new community of over 3,000 new homes, a highly sustainable, ‘car-lite’ urban extension, and a bespoke housing scheme which draws on local references to embed the project within its surroundings.
Max is a member of Design West, a panel of experienced specialists offering design expertise on developments across the southwest. Outside of work, he enjoys being in sea, dog walks with his family, and chasing his young daughter around the countryside.
