A chartered transport planner, Sam leads our transportation planning team in North West England. He has significant experience working with landowners, developers, professional partners, and statutory bodies. Playing a key client-facing role, he’s regularly involved in public consultation exercises as a representative of the client’s project team.
Sam draws on his project management experience to deliver a wide variety of transport projects that include site access and feasibility assessments and capacity assessment. He also develops parking layouts for urban development and identifies physical and technical measures to mitigate potential impacts of development-related traffic.
A notable project for Sam was working on proposals for Intermodal Logistics Park North, a new strategic rail freight interchange project that will provide an intermodal rail terminal and logistics accommodation and warehousing. He’s also served as a strategic advisor on a range of projects including the solar farm development programme which assessed over 20 sites across the UK.
When not pioneering sustainable travel solutions, Sam immerses himself in live music or can be found following Manchester United nationwide.
