Molly has more than six years’ experience in undertaking ecological field surveys. A senior ecologist, she’s conducted a variety of terrestrial surveys including UK habitat surveys with condition assessments and protected species surveys—bats, badger, birds, dormice, great crested newts, invertebrates, reptiles and water voles. She’s also delivered biodiversity net gain assessments and developed green infrastructure biodiversity strategies.
Working closely with Southern Water and other water companies, Molly delivers biodiversity net gain assessments, preliminary ecological appraisals, habitat regulation assessments, and undertakes protected species surveys. She specialises in biodiversity net gain, assisting with leading our water ecology team and providing both internal and external training.
Passionate about integrating nature in urban areas, Molly advocates for green roofs, living walls, and rain gardens to benefit both wildlife and people. She brings that passion to her spare moments exploring nature, whether discovering urban greening initiatives in cities or rushing to a Royal Society for the Protection of Birds reserve to spot a rare bird species.
