With nearly 10 years of experience in planning and consenting, Julian is a chartered town planner who advises a diverse range of clients on development and infrastructure projects across the energy, water, transport, and mixed-use sectors. He believes that the interdisciplinary nature of modern planning requires a curious mindset to address practical consenting issues and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Julian enjoys working within various consenting regimes and has recently focused on managing nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs) and other large-scale efforts through the planning process. He’s developed a solid understanding of relevant European legislation including the Environmental Impact Assessment, Water Framework, and Habitats Directives.
When he isn’t busy with planning projects, Julian enjoys hiking in the Wicklow Mountains and exploring Ireland’s diverse coastlines.
