Advising both public and private sector clients, Rana specialises in flood risk management, contributing within the planning process around flood risk and drainage. She’s well-versed in a range of sensitive and climate-related issues such as surface water modelling and sustainable drainage systems.
Based in London, Rana works with clients across England and Wales—on large mixed-use developments, residential, education, leisure, town-centre regeneration, and film studios projects. Her technical expertise includes hydraulic modelling, hydrological assessments, site due diligence, flood risk analysis, and drainage as well as development infrastructure and supporting planning inquiries. Supporting resilience and infrastructure works, she has also advised on flood alleviation schemes, helping clients build business cases for funding applications for flood defence schemes. Rana’s also a panelist on Design West and Design Midlands, delivering a peer review of schemes put forward by other parties.
When she isn’t supporting clients with flood risk issues, Rana enjoys travelling, photography and exploring new cultures with her children.
